National Voter Registration Day

Today is National Voter Registration Day and I’m pleased to be running for Kittery Town Council in the upcoming November 2nd election.

I’m grateful for all of the encouragement and support that I’ve received so far. I look forward to meeting more of my neighbors and learning what you want to see in Kittery’s town government and future.

If you’re not already registered to vote, please see the the helpful info from the Maine Secretary of State below.

Election Day is Tomorrow !

Election Day in Kittery is tomorrow !

Thanks to all my friends and neighbors for the encouragement and inspiration to run for Kittery Town Council.

Win or lose, the most important thing is that everyone should vote !

Last Monday was Memorial Day, and this last Sunday was the 77th anniversary of the D-Day invasion. Both should serve as reminders of all the men and women that fought and died to preserve democracy – I think we honor them best by protecting our neighbors’ right to vote and by voting ourselves.

One Week Away

We’re one week from election day in Kittery! The next 48 hours are critical if you’re not certain to have time to vote in person at the polls next Tuesday (the 8th) and want to vote early (via absentee).

Here are the important details:

Wednesday the 2nd (Tomorrow):

6pm – 7pm – Extra Hour for Voter Registration Night at Town Hall – Request & Pickup an Absentee Ballot (to return later, or immediately to vote early!) Update your voter registration information or register to vote if you’re a new voter

Thursday the 3rd:

8am – 6pm @ Town Hall – Request & Pickup an Absentee Ballot (to return later, or immediately to vote early!) Update your voter registration information or register to vote if you’re a new voter

** The deadline to request/pickup an absentee ballot is Thursday at 6pm ** (you can request online, via email or phone – but your best bet is to come in person to avoid any postal delays)

Once you have your absentee ballot, can you drop it off at Town Hall (via the drop box out front) until 6pm on Monday the 7th
